This talk will go over the new era of programmable intents that CoW Protocol is enabling with its technology. With the addition of CoW Hooks, the programmatic order framework, CoW AMM, CoW Protocol is no longer just a swap intent matching engine, but rather a generalized intent engine executor for all types of orders logic and all types of transactions.

Secure, user-friendly cross-chain interoperability is an ongoing challenge in DeFi; cross-chain operations to and from Ethereum and other chains is still often convoluted. The Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) Protocol offers a solution. Initially developed for the Cosmos ecosystem, IBC is a cross-chain messaging framework that enables communication between chains that is direct, trust-minimized, secure, efficient, and decentralized. Since launch, IBC has secured tens of billions in annual value transfers, with no exploits. In this talk, Omar Zaki of Composable will discuss benefits of connecting Ethereum to IBC for cross-chain bridging. Further, he will describe Composable’s work on Ethereum IBC connectivity, which is in testnet and rapidly approaching mainnet deployment. As a result, Ethereum will interoperate in a trust-minimized manner with 45+ IBC-enabled Cosmos appchains, ~80 Polkadot and Kusama parachains, and Solana (soon), with more connections planned for the future.

In this talk Clément is going to show you how to cook some tasty DeFi strategies using DFMM! This extensible, oracle-free and permissionless protocol is the sous-chef for all the DeFi developers, handling for you all the tedious and complex smart-contract logic, so you don't have to. All it asks from you is your secret sauce -a unique trading function to spice things up! In this session, you'll learn how to turbo-bake asset management strategies (think of them as hassle-free AMMs) right on top of DFMM. Solidity knowledge is a plus if you want to follow along the recipe!

The world of dapps is evolving — breaking assumptions around wallet experience and allowing wallets and web3 UX to become smarter and more intuitive. This is enabled by new tech developed through Smart Accounts that unlocks more user-friendly experiences. In this talk we dive into the specific developments around how users will connect their wallets and establish session authentication. We cover some of the recent progress with the WalletConnect protocol and how it will evolve in the future regarding new patterns like Session Keys.

With the recent "cambrian explosion" of L2s it's easy to get lost in all the varieties. However, not all L2s are built the same, they are very different in nature. It takes a bit of understanding of how L2s are supposed to work and a certain website to know the difference. In this short talk I will quickly explain how to navigate through the nuances of L2 ecosystem assessment on the L2BEAT website to get a better understanding of the trade-offs that come with each L2.
Krzysztof Urbański (kaereste.eth): Governance Lead of L2BEAT

Smart contract security has been the talk of the town for years. But a lending protocol, a play-2-earn platform, or a DEX may have a very different view on what constitutes (un-)intended behaviors in their system. Clearly defining those, we effectively create a comprehensive set of properties that the system has to adhere to. Defining security properties is the fundamental step in achieving protocol security, and it opens a clear path to a multitude of options, from simple unit testing to full fledged formal verification, which is much more accessible than commonly believed. In this talk, we will discuss how to ensure that these properties hold by integrating security tools, including Foundry and Kontrol, into your development pipeline, and security mindset — into your development lifecycle.

People want the ability to access as many DeFi protocols as possible. They do not want to use as many dapps as possible. Instead, they want one dapp that lets them do everything. They want a DeFi super dapp. Currently, DeFi is dominated by mono dapps. One dapp per protocol, one protocol per dapp. For example, there's the Uniswap protocol and the Uniswap app. But DeFi is about to go through a transition away from mono dapps toward super dapps, which will unlock new potential in the DeFi space.

In the evolving landscape of Web3, the presentation "Building Scalable Wallet Solutions in Web3: Leveraging Authentic Developer Relations and Collaborative Innovation" examines the pivotal role of Developer Relations in advancing wallet technology through community-driven innovation. This approach emphasizes the importance of authentic, transparent relationships among developers, fostering an environment where feedback directly influences enhancements in MetaMask Snaps and overall wallet functionality. By cultivating a dynamic ecosystem that encourages active participation and contribution, this initiative not only enhances the technical capabilities of wallets but also showcases the transformative power of collaboration and trust within the decentralized technology community. We will touch on
Francesco Andreoli: DevRel Lead @MetaMask
Quick introduction to the protocol we are building for crypto-native commerce. Specifically looking at the Relay system and how it will be possible to move your data around, as a merchant and customer, to achieve full data sovereignty. (We got a pre-confirmation for 5minutes lightning talk for being a gold sponsor of the conference. We wouldn't mind going longer but this would change the description, of course.)
Henry Bubert: Lead Software Engineer @ Mass Labs

Carsten Munk: Board Director at Cartesi Foundation
In this talk Camila will talk about how Berachain's proof of liquidity aligns network security and liquidity, defragments liquidity, and turbocharges dapps. In traditional models, value flows from users to validators via dapps. On Berachain, because validators direct network emissions directly to dapps, the value flows from validators to users via dapps.
Camila Ramos: Lead developer evangelist at Berachain
In "Bolstering Web3 Security Across the Smart Contract Lifecycle," Jose Paul, presents a robust DevSecOps model for web3 applications. Integrating AI-driven static and dynamic code analysis in early development phases, the strategy anticipates vulnerabilities early on. It then progresses to detailed manual audits leveraging formal verification to test smart contract resilience pre-deployment. The model capitalizes on the web3 community's expertise through testnet-phase red teaming and bug bounties, enhancing security before mainnet launch. The lifecycle culminates with real-time monitoring systems that employ machine learning for anomaly detection, offering proactive threat intelligence and incident response. This approach redefines smart contract security, ensuring it evolves with web3 developments.
